Meet the Team
Zone 2 brings strength and conditioning and sports therapy together under one roof, so recovery and performance work hand in hand rather than happening in isolation.

Lewis holds a BSc in Sports Therapy from Southampton Solent University. He began his career in football as Assistant Sports Therapist at Brackley Town, before taking on the role of Lead Sports Therapist at Rayners Lane FC. He's now spent close to two years as Sports Therapist for Luton Town's academy, working with their youth players day to day. Alongside his academy role, Lewis brings three years' experience in private clinic, treating everyday patients as well as athletes, from acute injuries through to long-term rehabilitation. At Zone2, Lewis leads on injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, working closely with Matt to make sure recovery and strength training go hand in hand rather than happening in isolation.
Matt holds a First-Class Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Oxford Brookes and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA. With over 5 years' experience across football, general population health and wellbeing, and physical performance environments, Matt currently works as an Applied Sports Scientist at the University of Northampton, delivering physical performance support to scholarship athletes across multiple sports. At Zone2, he builds programmes grounded in evidence, not guesswork, tailored to where you're actually at rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.
